Students place fifth, 12th in Hearst round one
Photojournalism students Jarrett Baker and Tricia Coyne placed fifth and 12th, respectively, in round one of the annual Hearst Foundation photojournalism competition, professor John Freeman announced.
Baker received $600, with a match to the Department of Journalism. Both have participated in the Berlin Study Abroad and Florida FlyIns programs and interned at The Gainesville Sun.
