Students place in Hearst broadcast news competition
Two students from the College recently placed in the Hearst Journalism Awards Program’s Broadcast News Competition II.
Sheli Muniz placed first in the news competition and recieved $2,600. Clark Fouraker placed third and recieved $1,500. As finalists, the two students will submit additional entries for a semi-final round.
The top five television finalists will be chosen to participate in the championship, along with the radio, writing and photojournalism finalists.
The College will receive matching awards.
