Recent Grad Spotlight: Kaylee Glyder
Kaylee Glyder is a recent graduate from the UF College of Journalism and Communication’s Telecommunication program. Since her graduation in May 2016, she has moved on to a new city and began working at the University of South Florida Athletics office. As the Assistant Video Production Coordinator for BullsVision, she is responsible for covering a wide range of sports.
Kaylee loves having the opportunity to cover everything from sailing and cross country to football and basketball. Her biggest challenge to date was her quick transition to USF, as she was offered the job just two weeks before her first day! Even with the quick turnaround, she is grateful for the small team she works with on a daily basis and feels that it’s been a great fit for her.
Kaylee credits UF and her involvement opportunities with GatorVision, the Innovation News Center, WUFT and her role as a college ambassador to her success in preparing for her future goals. Even with all of her successes thus far, Kaylee still remembers how the advice she received during her senior year helped her get to this point.
Urging students to apply early and often, Kaylee wants to leave those students who are looking towards their futures with this “Do not let your doubts stop you from reaching big, especially if you want to travel to live somewhere new, now is the time to do so!”
