CJC Alumna Takes on Agency Role Funded by Advertising Alum Cliff Marks
University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications alumna Kelli Kaufmann, B.S. Public Relations 2017, has been appointed the new Business Development Coordinator at The Agency at UF. Kaufmann will engage with advertising and public relations agencies across the country to strategize and implement research-inspired creative assignments designed to help brands engage more authentically with millennials (age 18-35).
The Agency business development coordinator position is funded by a generous donation from CJC alumnus Cliff Marks, B.S. Advertising 1984, president of National CineMedia, the nation’s largest cinema advertising network.
“We are grateful to Cliff for his generous support,” said Andy Hopson, The Agency’s executive director. “He understands the value of The Agency’s business proposition and recognizes that our outreach is strengthened with the help of a millennial in a professional role.”
Kaufmann follows Nathan King, B.S. Public Relations 2015, who left in April to join BBDO’s New York office as an account executive on the ExxonMobil account.
