CJC Alum Selected Chair of UF Investment Company
Rebecca Patterson, B.S. Journalism 1990, was selected as chair of the University of Florida’s Investment Corporation (UFICO). During her six-year term, Patterson will work with a 12-member board of directors to manage the University’s $157 billion endowment.
UFICO promotes the educational purposes of UF by providing investment research, advice, counsel, and management for the University Board of Trustees and affiliated organizations of the University.
Patterson is currently managing director and chief investment officer for the 110-year-old wealth management firm Bessemer Trust based in New York.
Patterson, a regular CNBC contributor, was named by American Banker as one of “The 25 Most Powerful Women in Finance” in 2014 and 2015, and Private Asset Management recognized her as one of the “50 Most Influential Women in Private Wealth” in 2015. The Family Wealth Report named Ms. Patterson the “Leading Woman in Wealth Management” in 2016.
