Rita Men and Two CIC Doctoral Students Selected for PRSA Educators Academy Awards
The Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Educators Academy has awarded University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications Public Relations Associate Professor Rita Men their Top Faculty Research Paper Award for “Social Messengers as the New Frontier of Organization-Public Engagement: Antecedents and Relational Outcomes.” Men, who co-authored the paper with Dr. Sunny Tsai, associate professor of strategic communication at the University of Miami, will receive the award on Oct. 7 at the PRSA Educators Academy “Super Saturday” event in Boston.
In addition, CJC second-year doctoral students Katy Robinson and Patrick Thelen will receive the Betsy Plank Graduate Research Competition Award during the PRSA Educators Academy.
