CJC Alum Receives Creative Arts Emmy Award
Rich Preuss, B.S. Telecommunication 1996, received a 2017 Creative Arts Emmy Award from the Television Academy in the Original Creative Achievement in Interactive Media Within an Unscripted Program category. Preuss was co-executive producer for the online program: ”The Oscars: All Access.” During the national broadcast, Preuss spent time backstage with the Television Academy Interns.
Preuss, based in Los Angeles, is a director/associate director specializing in multi-camera live musical/variety events. He has worked on the Academy Awards, Golden Globes and Billboard Music Award broadcasts, as well as various concert specials and tribute shows. Throughout his career, he has received multiple Emmy and DGA Award wins and nominations.
