Janice Krieger Leads Research Program at UF Health Cancer Center

University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications STEM Translational Communication Center Director Janice Krieger, along with Diana Wilkie, Ph.D., R.N., will lead the Cancer Population Sciences (CPS) program at the UF Health Cancer Center.
The program will host monthly meetings to focus on conducting person centered, family-focused, clinician engaged and population-based research to improve cancer prevention, treatment, symptom management and palliative care — with an emphasis on those who face unique disadvantages due to race/ ethnicity, poverty, rurality, older age and poor health literacy.
More program details are featured in “Introducing the UFHCC Research Programs” published in the Connection Member Newsletter from the UF Health Cancer Center.
