Andrew Selepak Comments on Marketing Trends for 2018
Andrew Selepak, University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications director of the online Master’s program with a specialization in social media, was featured in “Marketing Technology 2018: 350 Marketers, CEOs, and Influencers Predict the Future” published on Tune.com on Dec. 15.
The article poses the question, “What technology will change marketing the most in 2018?” Selepak predicts that Google and Facebook will continue to be the two biggest companies in marketing. He offers that Google will still provide website analytics, paid search ads, and YouTube. Facebook, meanwhile, will still be the single most important social media platform and offers the best targeted marketing for companies, non-profits, and politicians with the 2018 midterm election looming.
