CJC Students Collaborate to Publish UF Career Connections Center Stories

University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications Journalism students collaborated with UF University Relations and the UF Career Connections Center (CCC) to produce 20 stories focusing on the value of CCC’s offerings and the students it helps.

Students created Career Connections as part of Journalism lecturer Herbert Lowe’s JOU 3101 reporting lab. UF News published the stories via a new social media platform called Shorthand Social. Topics included job connections, resume preparation, connecting students with faculty, professional attire requirements, alumni interaction and more.
