CJC Doctoral Student to Receive Two Top Paper Awards from PRSA Educators Academy
University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications doctoral student Pamala Proverbs will receive two awards at the PRSA Educators Academy Super Saturday on Oct. 19 in San Diego. Her paper, “Corporate Political Defiance— A Case Study on CEO’s New Motive for Corporate Social Responsibility” will be recognized as the Arthur W. Page Center top ethics paper and the Betsy Plank Graduate Research Competition Award for the top student paper.
These awards honor public relations graduate students for written work that either tests, refines or expands public relations practice, research or theory; or critically reviews issues relevant to public relations theory or research.
