Raegan Burden and Ann Christiano Selected to Participate in UF Center for Teaching Excellence Interface 2020
Raegan Burden, University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications Advertising lecturer of cultural engagement, will be a keynote panel moderator for Interface 2020 Better Together: Student Teams That Work on April 14, 2020.
Ann Christiano, University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications director of the Center for Public Interest Communications and Frank Karel Chair in Public Interest Communications, will be one of the panel members.
Interface is UF’s annual teaching conference. This conference recognizes innovative faculty and provides a forum for faculty to share their work with other disciplines and foster interdisciplinary collaborations on future projects. The keynote panel features faculty and industry representatives sharing ideas and strategies on collaborative learning in diverse teams.
The theme of the panel is “Do your students grumble and roll their eyes when they hear ‘group work’?” It will focus on how collaborative learning techniques are highly effective for facilitating
student learning.
