Yulia Strekalova Selected as National Research Mentoring Network Grant Writing Coach
Yulia Strekalova, University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications research assistant professor and director of Grants Development, has been invited to be a grant writing coach for the National Research Mentoring Network (NRMN).
NRMN is a National Institute of Health funded multi-institutional effort that supports research development focusing on promoting participation of underrepresented populations in the U.S. biomedical research enterprise.
Through the national network, NRMH implements and disseminates best practices to improve mentoring relationships at institutions across the country. They connect highly knowledgeable and skilled mentors with motivated and diverse mentees, ranging from undergraduate students to early-career faculty, and facilitate long-term, culturally responsive interactions between them.
In this position, Strekalova will have the opportunity to learn and network with experienced research development professionals from around the U.S.
