Ron Rodgers Authors Chapter in New Book on the History of Journalistic Ethics
Ron Rodgers, University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications Journalism associate professor and graduate coordinator, is the author of a chapter in the new book “Journalism’s Ethical Progression: A Twentieth-century Journey.”
The book, to be published on Dec. 15, uses case studies and historical analysis to trace changes in the ways that journalists understood their ethical responsibilities during the pre-internet twentieth century. Each chapter explores a historical development in the evolution of journalists’ perceptions of their role as professionals.
