Two CJC Staff Receive UF Division Three Superior Accomplishment Awards
Judy Hunter, University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications associate director of Advising, and CJC Public Relations Administrative Assistant Isabella Ryan are the recipients of UF Division Three Superior Accomplishment Awards. The prestigious awards recognize staff who contribute outstanding and meritorious service to provide a better experience for students and employees in the university environment.
Hunter has been in her current role in the CJC Professional Advising and Teaching Hub since 2011. She is one of six professional advisors who support the academic endeavors of approximately 2,500 undergraduate students from their first day in the College through graduation.
Ryan has served as an Administrative Assistant in the Public Relations department for more than two years. She joined the College in 2016.
The honors, to be presented on March 11, include a $200 cash award, a certificate and tokens of appreciation for their superior service to UF. Division Three includes all schools, colleges, departments, and units under the Office of the Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs. Award recipients will be forwarded for consideration for a university-wide Superior Accomplishment Award. These winners will be revealed on April 20.
