Message from Keisha Reynolds: Coping Resources for Employees
I want to extend our support and commitment to CJC employees and families as we navigate through this difficult time. While there are several ways our community continues to respond, the health and safety of our employees is a top priority.
It is important to know what resources are available that can assist when needed and to alleviate the pressures you may face because of COVID-19. Two of those resources are the University’s no-cost and confidential Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and Aid-a-Gator.
EAP is available to all UF faculty, staff, graduate assistants, non-student OPS employees, house staff/residents, and postdoc associates. Household members also are eligible to receive services. EAP offers someone to talk to and to consult with 24 hours/7 days a week for support, community resources and information. Services include, but are not limited to:
- Confidential Emotional Support
- Worklife Solutions
- Legal Guidance
- Financial Resources
For more information about UF’s EAP service, please click on this link: https://eap.ufl.edu.
Aid-a-Gator is a way for UF employees to offer support to colleagues who are experiencing a temporary hardship due to a significant life event, such as a sudden illness, family crisis or natural disaster. It is during these fluid times our Gator Nation has demonstrated a willingness to come together and demonstrate compassion and unity for the greater good.

If you wish to discuss further any of the above resources, please contact me directly at kereynolds@ufl.edu.
Sincerely,
Keisha Reynolds
