Clay Calvert Comments on Rescinding College Admissions Over Racist Social Media Posts

Clay Calvert, director of the Marion B. Brechner First Amendment Project at the University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications, comments in “Colleges are Revoking Admissions Offers Due to Racist Posts” posted on today.com on July 31.

The article focuses on college admissions being rescinded over racist social media posts.

According to Calvert, the First Amendment gives you the right to speak freely, but it doesn’t give you the right to attend a public university.
