Do you have an interest in working with a faculty member on advanced research? Are you thinking about graduate school or a career that involves research? Would $1,750 help?
This year, CJC has five allocations for the University Scholars Program (USP). Undergraduate scholars receive a $1,750 stipend to support their research and will have the opportunity to publish in UF’s online Journal of Undergraduate Research. Faculty mentors receive a $500 stipend to use as needed to support the research of the student.
For the application and detailed information on CJC’s requirements, see the College of Journalism and Communications USP Requirements. UF Online students, see USP for Online Students.
If selected, you will work with a faculty member to pick your topic, initiate research during summer 2022, and continue investigating in the 2022-2023 academic year.
CJC Submittal Due Date: Friday, February 11, 2022 by 4 PM. To qualify, you must not graduate before May 2023.
