PBS Host Presents Free Webinar on Civil Discourse
Alexander Heffner, host of PBS’s “The Open Mind,” will present “Civil Discourse in an Uncivil Age” a virtual conversation on restoring civility in our national discourse on Feb. 22 at 26 p.m. The free webinar is open to the public.
Heffner will discuss the incivility common today in public discourse, politics and governance. He will also speak about the influence of new media and the spread of disinformation and offer prescriptions for restoring trust in civic life and our democratic institutions.
