Florida Wild for All Scholarship Applications Now Open
The Alachua Conservation Trust (ACT) is pleased to announce the 2022 Florida Wild for All Scholarship. With this award, ACT seeks to amplify and celebrate the existing voices of Black, Indigenous, Latinx and Multiracial People of Color interested in pursuing a career path in natural resources management or protection of the environment of Florida.
Applications will be accepted online or by mail from January 1, 2022 – March 1, 2022. Award recipients will be notified by April 15, 2022. Scholarship awards will be mailed by July 31, 2022.
For an application to be considered, applicants must meet all three eligibility requirements listed below:
- Must interested in pursuing a career path in the environment and/or natural resource management fields.
- Must identify as Black, Indigenous, Latinx, Multiracial, or a Person of Color.
- Must live in one of the following Florida counties: Alachua, Bradford, Clay, Columbia, Dixie, Gilchrist, Hamilton, Lafayette, Lake, Levy, Madison, Marion, Putnam, Sumter, Suwannee or Union.
