Roxane Coche to Present at IACS Summit on Communication & Sport
Roxane Coche, University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications Sports Journalism and Communication associate director and Media Production, Management, and Technology assistant professor, will be presenting on March 4 and 5 at the International Association for Communication (IACS) Summit on Communication & Sport at Rowan University in Glassboro, New Jersey.

Coche will present her paper “Soccer, Gender, Politics and Social Media: International Politicians’ Posts About the FIFA World Cup” and another with colleagues Robert Gutsche, Patrick Ferrucci and Kristy Hess entitled “’Part of the Gig:’ Intersecting Metajournalistic Discourse on the Role (And Toll) of Sports Press Conferences.”
The IACS Summit is the only stand-alone conference for communication researchers interested in exploring sport from diverse critical, methodological, theoretical, and multi-disciplinary perspectives. The Summit will showcase work from all methodological and theoretical perspectives.
