Six UFCJC Alums Selected for 2023 “40 Gators Under 40” Awards
Six University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications (UFCJC) alumni were honored as part of the UF Alumni Association’s 2023 “40 Gators Under 40” Awards. The awards honor young alumni whose achievements positively reflect UF.
The 2023 honorees include:
- Alex Andrade, B.S. Advertising 2011, attorney at Moore Hill & Westmoreland, P.A. and member of the Florida House of Representatives District 2
- Drew Bagley, B.S. Public Relations, B.A. Political Science 2005, M.A. Mass Communication Law 2006, CrowdStrike vice president and counsel for Privacy and Cyber Policy
- Dayana Falcon, B.S. Advertising 2011, ESPN Talent Mobility manager
- Galey Gravenstein, B.S. Public Relations 2007, vice president and regional director for Goldman Sachs Asset Management and CEO of Galey Alix Design
- Whitney Holtzman, B.S. Journalism 2010, CEO and founder of Social Victories
- Brian Ruiz, B.S. Advertising 2006, Google global head of Performance Initiatives
Criteria for the award include being an alumnus of the University in good standing, under the age of 40 by April of that year, making a significant impact on their industry, and having professional and/or civic accomplishments.
