WUFT Media Services and UF Strategic Communications Video Production Receives 2023 Gold dotCOMM Award
WUFT Media Services, in the University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications Division of Media Properties, in partnership with UF Strategic Communications and Marketing has received an Association of Marketing and Communications Professionals 2023 Gold dotCOMM Award for the 60-second video “Why Florida.”
The video highlights what makes UF a prestigious and leading higher education institution and includes:
- UF’s status as a top-five public university in the U.S.
- UF Online’s top ranking in the U.S.
- Translating research into impact and economic opportunity
- HiPerGator’s ranking as the most powerful university-owned AI supercomputer in the nation
- Best value for students
- $1 billion in research spending
The international competition honoring excellence in web creativity, digital communication and strategy received over 2,500 entries from corporate communication departments, public relations firms, advertising agencies and higher education institutions.
WUFT Media Services is under the direction of Matt Abramson, B.S. Telecommunication 2007, M.A.M.C. 2020. Production team members include Lorenzo Phrasavath, Taylor Vorburger, James Sullivan and Rashad Wooten.
