Julie Frey Elected 2023-2024 FPRA President-Elect
Julie Frey, University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications Office of Careers and Corporate Partnerships director, will be inducted as president-elect of the Florida Public Relations Association (FPRA) on Aug. 7 at the Waldorf Astoria in Orlando.
In her new role, she will work with chapter presidents-elect, assist chapters with their policies and by-laws and review FPRA policies and procedures. She will also assist with the strategic plan and assume the role of president if needed.

- Tina Banner, B.S. Public Relations 1999, vice president of Digital Media
- Lindsey Robertson, B.S. Journalism 2005 and M.A.M.C. 2006, vice president of Professional Development
- Amelia Bell, B.S. Public Relations 2003 and M.A.M.C. 2009, Counselors’ Network Chair
In 2022, Frey received a FPRA Golden Image Award for her work with the UFCJC Gator-to-Gator Coaching Program and in 2020 received the John S. Detweiler Professional of the Year Award by the Florida Public Relations (FPRA) Gainesville Chapter.
