Molly Cooper, a University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications (UFCJC) graduate student, is the recipient of a 2024 Florida Public Relations Association (FPRA) Golden Image Award in the Student Projects in Public Relations Campaign category. Her campaign focused on the College’s  Gator to Gator Coaching Program.

Cooper works as a graduate assistant in the UFCJC Office of Careers and Corporate Partnerships. She serves as the coordinator for the mentorship program which pairs recent graduates with UFCJC alumni in similar industries for professional development and networking purposes. Alumni coaches help program participants identify how to prepare for sudden shifts and challenges in the job market and to explore possible leads for externships and jobs.

The coaching program, launched during the 2020-2021 academic year, also received a FPRA Golden Image Award in the internal category in 2022.
