UFCJC Alumnus Terrell Jenkins Named First PATH Office Outreach Coordinator
The University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications (UFCJC) announced today that UFCJC alumnus Terrell Jenkins, B.S. Public Relations 2015, will be the College’s first outreach coordinator in the Professional Advising and Teaching Hub (PATH). His first day is Aug. 16.
In this new role, Jenkins will serve as a steward of UFCJC’s outreach to prospective, applying and current students. He will organize recruitment events, monitor the progress of applicants and collaborate with staff and faculty on recruitment initiatives. He will also manage employer-sponsored events and career fairs, provide direct support to the Office of Careers and Corporate Partnerships for employer and internal partner programs and manage the Journalism College Ambassadors program.
Jenkins has been a pre-college adviser at Santa Fe College since 2018, where he helped students navigate the college admissions process and improve their college and career readiness, with a particular focus on underrepresented populations. Prior to that, he was a leadership annual giving officer at UF Advancement and an account manager at Crime Prevention Security Systems.
