Jasmine McNealy to Moderate Discussion on Hulu Documentary “Black Twitter: A People’s History”

Jasmine McNealy, University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications Media Production, Management, and Technology professor, will moderate a discussion on “Politics, Movements and Joy: A Meditation on Black Twitter” on Aug. 29 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. in Ustler Hall on the UF campus in Gainesville.

The discussion of the Hulu documentary, “Black Twitter: A People’s History,” includes Georgia Tech Associate Professor André L. Brock, Arizona State University Lincon Center for Applied Ethics Associate Director Sarah Florini and Washington University in St. Louis Assistant Professor Raven Maragh-Lloyd.

This event is sponsored by the UF African American Studies Program, the Digital Media and Community Lab, the Center for the Humanities and the Public Sphere, and the Department of Gender, Sexuality, and Women’s Studies.
