Austin Soto Joins UFCJC as an Academic Advisor for Master’s Students

Austin Soto has joined the University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications Division of Graduate Studies and Research as an academic advisor for master’s students.

Soto will provide comprehensive program guidance to assist students in navigating their coursework and meeting their academic and professional goals. His role includes developing personalized academic plans, offering advice on course selection and ensuring students are aware of and fulfill all graduation requirements.

Previously, Soto taught kindergarten in Jacksonville and before that worked in the UF Office of Admissions. He graduated from the University of North Florida in 2016 with a B.A. in Elementary Education and from UF with a Master’s in Higher Education in 2024.
