Carlina Williams Selected as 2024 Jax Fuse – Fashion, Food and Film Festival Keynote Speaker
Carlina Williams, University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications (UFCJC) Media Production, Management, and Technology (MPMT) visiting lecturer, will be the keynote speaker for the Jax Fuse – Fashion, Food and Film Festival on Sept. 14.
The two-day festival, at the link in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, will feature culinary arts and fashion innovation on Sept. 13 and cinematic selections from the Jacksonville area on Sept. 14. The nine featured films represent various genres including drama, comedy, science fiction, thrillers and musicals.
Before coming to UFCJC, Williams was a creative executive at Moonbug Entertainment, where she was pivotal in the creation of two hit Netflix shows and the top ranked “Cocomelon Story Time” podcast on Spotify. She also had roles as a development coordinator at Nickelodeon, creative assistant at Universal Pictures and was an associate producer at The Walt Disney Company.
