- Period of performance: Winners must complete the awarded research project within three years from the date the award is granted. Funds will be made available upon the acceptance of a resulting paper to either the AAA annual conference or ICORIA.
- Program background: The American Academy of Advertising – European Advertising Academy Research Fellowship Competition intends to promote collaborations between the American Academy of Advertising (AAA) and European Advertising Academy (EAA) scholars and advertising professionals, offering funding for research and travel to international conferences (AAA, ICORIA) to present research resulting from those collaborations.
- Program Objectives: Any topic that is appropriate for potential publication in the Journal of Advertising (JA), the International Journal of Advertising (IJA), Journal of Current Issues & Research in Advertising (JCIRA), or Journal of Interactive Advertising (JIA) is eligible for the competition.
- NOTE: Submitting research teams must be comprised of at least (1) one current member of the AAA whose home conference is the AAA annual conference and (2) one current member of the EAA whose home conference is the International Conference on Research in Advertising (ICORIA). If funded, membership must also be maintained until the project is presented at the annual conference of AAA or at ICORIA.

- Program background: US Embassy UK invites proposals for projects that strengthen bilateral ties between the United States and the United Kingdom.

- Democracy and Shared Values: Special attention will be given to projects that commemorate the 250th anniversary of the signing of the U.S. Declaration of Independence; promote our shared values between the U.S. and the UK, including our commitment to democracy and human rights, women’s empowerment, and equity and inclusion to support underserved communities.
- Global challenges: Activities that build public support for the U.S.-UK alliance and U.S. foreign policy priorities related to shared national security challenges; shared democratic values; and/or address transnational challenges such as mis- and disinformation from hostile actors; and/or projects that promote peaceful dialogue and counter radicalization, and equity and social justice.
- Climate Change, Science, and Technology: Advance collaboration on the safe and responsible use of AI; promote climate-smart policies and infrastructure to support green growth and transatlantic security; and support women and girls in developing STEAM skills.
