UFCJC PR Department is Named 2025 PRWeek Awards Outstanding Education Program

The University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications (UFCJC) Public Relations Department has been named the 2025 PRWeek Outstanding Education Program. Public Relations seniors Clare Meyers and Chloe Oakes were finalists for Outstanding Student of the Year.

This is the fifth year in a row that the UFCJC Public Relations Department was selected as one of the top five programs in the country.  The department won the award in 2023 and received an Honorable Mention in 2024.

The other finalists were DePaul University, The University of Alabama, University of Georgia and the University of Southern California.

Now celebrating its 26th year, the PRWeek Awards, one of the highest accolades in the industry, celebrate the best of the best corporate, agency, nonprofit and education teams, and the work they produce.

The winner was announced on March 13 in New York City.
