Linjuan Rita Men Recognized for Scholarly Research Achievements by Academic Analytics
Linjuan Rita Men, University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications (UFCJC) Public Relations professor and director of Internal Communication Research, has been recognized by Academic Analytics as a high-performing scholar.
Men ranked in the top 5% of her peers at Association of American Universities (AAU) institutions in four or more metrics.
Academic Analytics evaluates faculty research expertise using seven metrics: journal articles, citations, conference proceedings, books, chapters in edited volumes, patents and honorific awards. Based on her ranking, Men is considered to be a top-performing research scholar.
Academic Analytics is a system used to benchmark and analyze faculty research activity at U.S. universities, including members of the AAU. It uses data on publications, citations, funding, and awards to assign a scholarly research index (SRI) to faculty members, allowing institutions to identify top performers and those who may need support.
