Krieger and Strekalova Collaborate On Nursing Student Empathy Training Study

of Journalism and Communications STEM Translational Communication Center Director, and Yulia Strekalova, UF CJC Director of Grants Development, collaborated with two ShadowHealth researchers to publish an online article in Wolters Kluwer Health Nurse Educator. The Aug. 3 article, “Empathic Communication in Virtual Education for Nursing Students: I’m Sorry to Hear That,” examined communication strategies used by undergraduate nursing students to express empathy during simulated health history interviews.
