Benjamin Johnson Selected as Co-Editor of Media Psychology
Benjamin Johnson, University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications Advertising assistant professor, was selected as one of four co-editors of Media Psychology, one of the leading journals in communication research.
Johnson will edit the journal alongside Sun Joo (Grace) Ahn, Marina Krcmar and Leonard Reinecke. They will begin accepting manuscripts in September 2020 and begin their co-editor roles in January 2021.
Johnson and the new editorial team were selected for their contributions as reviewers and editorial board members, their record of publishing in Media Psychology, and their commitment to advancing openness and diversity in research at the journal.
Media Psychology, now in its 23rd year, was founded to highlight research at the intersection of communication science and psychology. It is ranked as #14 in the field of communication, and #21 in applied psychology.
