Admissions Process for the Ph.D. Program

Admission into our on-campus Ph.D. program is for fall semesters only. The official application deadline is December 1 for both domestic and international students.

Our faculty and staff strongly encourage all applicants to submit required application materials two weeks prior to the deadline. Failure to submit application materials by the date will prevent application review. After December 15, no additional application materials or revisions will be accepted. Please see the list below for the required application materials.

Required Application Materials

    • Note: Unofficial transcripts are sufficient for application purposes. However, official Bachelor’s and Master’s degree conferred transcripts are REQUIRED if admitted to the program. Also, if you are a UF student, you do not need to submit transcripts (pending you have no financial holds) as they are in our internal database.
  • English Proficiency Exam Scores (International Applicants Only)
  • Statement of Purpose
  • Resume
  • 3 Letters of Recommendation
  • Work Samples (Required)
