YVETTE MILEY, B.S. Broadcasting 1985
Senior Vice President | MSNBC & NBC News
Miley has worked for NBC Universal for 25 years and is known for her dynamic leadership.

In her current role, Miley is responsible for talent management and development of people both in front of the camera and behind the scenes. She is the executive in charge of weekend, overnights and early morning programming.

Miley has won numerous awards, including: an Emmy Award for MSNBC and NBC’s coverage of the Supreme Court ruling on same-sex marriage, a national Edward R. Murrow Award, and an Emmy and a Society of Professional Journalists award for her role during coverage of the Boston Marathon Bombing, among others.

 JEANNE MITCHELL, B.S. Agriculture and Life Sciences 1980, MAG 1981
Senior Director of Federal Relations | ExxonMobil
Since 2015, Mitchell has been responsible for contacts and advocacy with the U.S. Senate across a vast spectrum of energy and business issues.

Previously, she served a similar role for ExxonMobil with the U.S. House of Representatives.

HELEN STEFAN MOREAU, B.S. Public Relations 1988
CEO/President | The Midtown Group
Stefan started The Midtown Group in 1989. It is ranked by the Washington Business Journal as the fourth best temporary local staffing agency in terms of number of placements.

In 2007 and 2008, Rachael’s Women’s Center, which assists local women as they step out of homelessness, named Stefan as Board Member of the Year for her active participation on the board of directors.

Stefan has been an active member of the prestigious C200, an invitation-only group dedicated to celebrating and advancing women’s leadership in business.

JULIA K. FLEMING, B.A. Business Management, M.Ed
Senior Assistant Director for Career and Industry Engagement | UF Career Resource Center
Fleming supervises staff members who provide customized career development opportunities and industry connections for UF students through partnerships with UF colleges. Her team specifically sets the strategic direction for the customized career-development education and programs.

Fleming’s Master’s degree is in curriculum and instruction with a concentration in college student affairs.

There are many factors that need to be taken into account when deciding on a career path or accepting a job. The most commonly overlooked of the factors is taking into account what your career values are. In this presentation you will be given the chance to explore your personal career values and learn why they are important in the decision making process. “It is important to believe in yourself and have self confidence because if you don’t, no one will. Remember you are your own biggest advocate and the only person in the world who can truly tell the world that you matter,” said Sarai Cruz, a Public Relations student, about what she learned at Becoming a Woman of Influence.
