Thomas Garvey graduated from the UF College of Journalism and Communications with a B.S. in Telecommunications and is currently working towards a master’s degree in Student Personnel in Higher Education at UF. Prior to joining the CJC advising team, Thomas was a high school teacher and coach and then worked in Recruitment and Orientation at Santa Fe College.
Thomas is a born and raised Floridian originally from Palmetto, FL in the Tampa Bay Area. He is a passionate Tampa Bay and Gators sports fan and also enjoys spending time with family and friends and cooking.
