HCA’s Hispanic Gator Film Festival
The Hispanic Gator Film Festival (April 2nd, 11:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m., Reitz Gallery Auditorium) is now taking submissions for student pieces! The first deadline for submissions is MARCH 18th at 11:59 p.m. EST. Please read through the categories below before submitting a film. All UF students are welcome to submit! SUBMIT HERE
CATEGORIES
HISPANIC CREATORS:
– Films, regardless of content, in which Hispanic creators were heavily involved with the creative development of the pieces (Creative Producer, Director, Writer, Cinematographer, ETC).
- ACCEPTED FORMATS: Short Films, Short Documentaries, Animated Shorts, Experimental Films, Historical films.
- RUNNING TIMES: Short Films, Experimental Films, Historical Films [7m MAX]; Animated Shorts [5m MAX]; Short Documentaries [15m MAX}
HISPANIC STORIES:
– Films, regardless of the creator’s background, which focus on stories surrounding Hispanic/Latino environments, characters, or themes.
- ACCEPTED FORMATS: Short Films, Short Documentaries, Animated Shorts, Experimental Films.
- RUNNING TIMES: Any submission [30m MAX]
