Study Abroad Opportunity: NBA in Paris
This one-credit-hour program mirrors the professional experiences of journalists: you will have only a couple of days to understand some of the dynamics in the host culture before writing about it.
The coverage will focus mostly on social/cultural aspects (e.g., basketball in French culture, differences between French league rules and NBA rules, NBA fans in Paris, etc.) rather than athletic/results-based.
The program includes: a behind-the-scenes tour of a French soccer stadium, a backstage tour of Roland-Garros, a ticket to a French league basketball game, a narrated sightseeing cruise on the Seine river, a ticket to the Montparnasse tower panoramic observation deck, housing for four nights in Paris, tuition for one credit hour, and limited meals.
It does not include airfare to/from France or access to the NBA game.
