The UF Public Speaking Lab is Open for Visitors!
Everyone is welcome — students, faculty, and staff — to visit the Public Speaking Lab for your presentation practice and consultation needs. The Lab is open for visitors!
Do you need to practice a dissertation defense with an impartial listener? Do you need your students to get more support in researching and developing their presentation ideas? Do you need advice knowing how to organize your points when delivering a keynote address?
Our lab staff members represent various CLAS disciplines, and can offer you a non-judgmental, constructive, and empathic ear. Feel free to visit just to talk an idea through!
The Public Speaking Lab is located on Rolfs Hall 5th Floor (elevator entrance), and we are open according to the following schedule, which can also be reached via this link:
Walk-ins are welcome, but appointments will be prioritized. You can schedule an appointment by choosing the Dial Center options at this link to TutorTrac.
Fall 2023 In-Person Hours:
Monday 9:30 – 12:30, 1 – 3
Tuesday 2 – 4
Wednesday 9:30 – 2, 2:30 – 4
Thursday 9:30 – 12, 1 – 3
Fall 2023 Zoom Hours (consultant will provide a link when the appointment is made):
Monday: 3 – 4
Wednesday: 4 – 5
