Brandon Shenk Joins UFCJC as an MPMT Visiting Lecturer for the 2024-2025 Academic Year
Brandon Shenk, B.S. Journalism 2014, will join the University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications as a visiting lecturer in the Media Production, Management, and Technology (MPMT) Department for the 2024-2025 academic year.
Shenk, an accomplished filmmaker, has been an MPMT adjunct since fall 2022 teaching Electronic Field Production II and the Advanced Production Workshop. He is also a co-founder and producer for SirinFilms LLC. He worked as a freelance production assistant for InterMedia Advertising and Brotherhood Studios and as an adjunct professor at Old Dominion University in Virginia.
His short films have been showcased at prominent festivals, including the Beverly Hills Film Festival, Brooklyn Film Festival, Hill Country Film Festival, TERMINUS Conference Festival, International Changing Perspectives Short Film Festival, Miami Independent Film Festival, and the Flamingo Film Festival.
Shenk also has an MFA in Film Production and Screenwriting from Florida State University.
