What are you teaching this semester?
This semester I’m teaching EFP 2 – Post Production, EFP 2 – Screenwriting, Brand Storytelling, and RTV 4929c Narrative Collaborative Filmmaking.
What is your area of expertise?
My area of expertise is in filmmaking, primarily focusing on narrative and documentary films.
What are you currently working on?
I’m working on developing a feature-film immersion program for students. It will have a two-year cycle and will involve the five major steps of the filmmaking process: development, pre-production, production, post-production and distribution.
Significant other, children, pets?
I have a pup named Coco(nut), who is a quirky kind of cute with a personality to match.
What accomplishments, personal or professional, are you most proud of?
I’m most proud of the relationships and mentoring I’ve had the honor of nurturing and learning at CJC.
Your hero or biggest inspiration (alive or historical)?
Paul Thomas Anderson is my favorite writer/director. Any of his films, minus Licorice Pizza, could easily make my top 10 list.
What three things don’t we know about you?
- When younger, I lived in a house with seven boys, two sets of parents and my grandparents.
- The number one place I wish to travel is Argentina.
- I’m ambidextrous.
