Amber Marthinsen

Social Media Manager

Amber Marthinsen is a dedicated Public Relations major at the University of Florida with a strong passion for internal communications, international relations, social media, and research. She has cultivated her expertise through academic research projects and hands-on experience as the Social Media Manager for UF’s Internal Communication Research Hub (ICRH), where she develops content strategies, manages newsletters, and promotes thought leadership.

Amber is actively involved with Alpha PR, UF’s student-run public relations firm, where she collaborates on client campaigns and creative strategy. She also serves as a Student Ambassador for UF’s Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA), is a Plank Leadership Scholar through the Emerging Leaders Program, and works as the Social Media Intern for DJ’s Cast Iron Burgers, helping build the brand’s digital presence from the ground up. She is committed to continuous learning, leadership, and advancing communication research that connects people and purpose across cultures.
