Four UFCJC Alumni Selected for 2025 “40 Gators Under 40” Awards
Four University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications (UFCJC) alumni were selected for UF Alumni Association’s 2025 “40 Gators Under 40” Awards. The awards recognize young alumni whose achievements positively reflect UF.
The 2025 honorees include:
- Allison Cannella, B.S. Public Relations 2007, senior vice president, general counsel and member of the executive leadership team at Vertical Bridge, the nation’s largest private owner and operator of communications infrastructure. She resides in Delray Beach, Florida.
- Adrienne Chance, B.S. Public Relations 2007, senior vice president and chief communications officer at SpartanNash, a food solutions company that serves as a distributor, wholesaler and retailer with a global supply chain network. Previously, she held positions at Topgolf Entertainment Group and Borden Dairy Company. She resides in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
- Liz Levine, B.S. Public Relations 2008, senior manager for affiliate relations for CBS Television Network overseeing relationships with leading broadcasters including Gray Media, Hearst Television, Nexstar Media and Tegna. She resides in New York City.
- Tyler Rutstein, B.S. Journalism 2011, is senior vice president, Global Brand & Americas Marketing for Under Armour where he drives brand strength and revenue growth through innovative marketing initiatives. He is also a UFCJC Sports Branding online adjunct lecturer. He resides in New York City.




Criteria for the award include being an alumnus of the University in good standing, under the age of 40 by April of that year, making a significant impact on their industry, and having professional and/or civic accomplishments.
The “40 Gators Under 40” Class of 2025 will be recognized on the UF campus in a ceremony on March 28.
