CJC Safety and Security

To ensure the safety and security of all students, faculty and staff, access to many areas of the building requires Gator 1 cards after regular hours.

8 a.m. – 6 p.m. weekdays: All areas of Weimer Hall are open (other than restricted areas such as broadcast studios and master control facilities)

6 p.m. – 8 a.m. weeknights and 24 hours on Saturday, Sunday and holidays: Only the atrium and student lounge are open. All other areas require a Gator 1 swipe card to access.

The atrium stairwell and elevators are open 24 hours a day to provide access to the second and third floors. Access to areas beyond the lobbies and student lounges after hours requires Gator 1 card access.

All other stairwells allow you to exit each floor but are locked for entry from the outside. If you exit any floor into these stairwells, you will have to go the ground floor to exit the building.

The Media Services/TAG/Gatorvision/WUFT-TV master control first floor Flanagan Wing hallway access door is closed, restricting access 24/7 to those with Gator 1 swipe card access.
