The University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications (CJC) is one of the premier programs in the country and part of one of the top public universities in the nation. CJC provides high-level education and resources for state-school tuition.
CJC is driving innovation and engagement across the disciplines of advertising, journalism, public relations and media production and management. We are dedicated to providing students with unparalleled learning opportunities in both the classroom and real-world immersion venues.
Led by Dean Hub Brown, the College offers its more than 2,500 students bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees and certificates, both on campus and online. CJC students have the opportunity to gain practical experience in the Innovation News Center, which generates content across multiple platforms, The Agency, an integrated strategic communication agency, the Atlas digital media analysis lab, Atrium Magazine, in seven broadcast and digital media properties and more.
CJC’s more than 30,000 living alumni have leadership positions across a range of media and other industries. The skills and knowledge gained by CJC students can be applied to any industry in need of skilled communicators.
