SOPHE 2020 Technology Award: Delivering Health Education and Health Behavior Change
Janice Krieger, University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications STEM Translational Communication Center director, is the recipient of the Society for Public Health Education (SOPHE)2020 Technology Award.
The award recognizes individuals or groups who have distinguished themselves by applying innovative, non-commercial technology in health education that can be broadly disseminated and has the potential to make a significant impact in health education practice.
Krieger was selected for her work in innovative technology-based solutions for the purpose of delivering health education and health behavior change. She will receive the award on March 19 at SOPHE’s Annual Conference Awards Ceremony in Atlanta.
