Laura Rutledge joined ESPN’s coverage of the Southeastern Conference in 2014 as a reporter on SEC Network and ESPN. She is now a permanent contributor to Get Up on ESPN in the mornings.

Laura previously served as a reporter and host for CNN International, ESPN and the SEC Network since 2014. Rutledge has hosted both the Coors Light Post Game Show on FOX College Football and halftime programming for FSN college football games. She was the producer and host of SDLive, an original show she created at FOX Sports San Diego, and was host of Chargers Insider for the San Diego Chargers.

Also, Rutledge worked for FOX Sports as a sideline reporter for Tampa Bay Rays and San Diego Padres games. She also provided on-field reporting for the FOX College Sports coverage of the NCPA‘s 2012 National Paintball Championship at Lakeland, Fla.

She attended the University of Florida and is an American beauty pageant titleholder from St. Petersburg, Florida, and was named Miss Florida 2012. She also won the 2011 Red Barber Award for Excellence in Broadcasting at UF. She is an Ambassador for the Miracle League, an organization that builds baseball fields for children with disabilities. She currently resides in Birmingham, Ala. with her husband Josh Rutledge, a retired MLB infielder and former Alabama baseball player. They welcomed a daughter, Reese, in October 2019.
