As Director of Academic Support Services for the Division of Graduate Studies, Kimberly is committed to enriching the academic journeys of graduate students and ensuring they achieve their academic milestones.
Kimberly’s career in higher education administration began as an administrative assistant in an undergraduate admissions office—a role she initially chose to gain free tuition towards her master’s degree. This position ignited her profound interest in higher education administration, leading to a decade-long tenure in Enrollment Management across various institutions. Specializing in financial aid, Kimberly developed a deep passion for advising students and helping them achieve their academic goals.
In 2021, Kimberly joined the College of Journalism and Communications as an academic assistant. This role broadened her expertise into the academic aspects of student education, inspiring her to develop targeted career plans to enhance student experiences. As the current Director of Academic Support Services, Kimberly aims to strengthen student and faculty engagement, implement comprehensive programming, and elevate the profile and reputation of the Graduate Division throughout the university. Additionally, Kimberly co-chairs the UF Graduate School Advisory Council, demonstrating her leadership and commitment to academic governance and graduate student success.
Kimberly holds a Bachelor of Science in Business with a concentration in Finance and a Master of Business Administration. She is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Higher Education Administration. Her professional drive is propelled by a dedication to dismantling barriers to graduate education and creating pathways that foster an inclusive and supportive environment for all students.
